Sony has announced two new high performance CEA-M Series CFexpress Type A memory cards.
The new cards CEA-M1920T (1920GB) and CEA-960T (960GB) conform to the CFexpress 2.0 and VPG200 standards.
In addition to a VPG200 rating that guarantees fast and stable video recording without dropped frames, they are resistant to bending and drop impact, and feature a dust and moisture sealing that ensures maximum reliability in harsh environment.
For video shooters, the VPG200 Video Performance Guarantee rating enables stable recording at 200 MB/s with no dropped frames for an extended period, even when recording XAVC S-I 4K footage and high bitrates.
The new CEA-M1920T and CEA-960T memory cards will be available in July 2023 for an estimated retail price of $749.99 US / €1,800 / £860 for the 960GB card and $1,399.99 US / €1,000 / £1,550 for the 1920GB card.
