RAW files are also available but password protected to help keep my hosting costs sensible. However, I do provide the username/password to all members of our community forum. I really appreciate you sharing the RAW with us. It helps us enormously to be able to see first-hand the performance of equipment that we may buy.

All photos are noisy / sandy on iso 100? why?
Hi Timothy I come here from your YouTube channel. So the point is recently I got a sony a6400 with 16-50 mm kit lens but I don’t get good results as expected..the images are not sharp and there’s lot of noise even in good lighting.I don’t know if it’s because of the lens or settings issue. Btw I’m very new to digital camera. Thanks
Hi Khakpa. Thanks for stopping by here! The 16-50 should be capable of producing reasonably sharp images and there should be little noise at lower ISO levels on the a6400. Are you shooting on auto or manual? If the images aren’t sharp enough it could be because the shutter speed is too slow, so try increasing this. For moving subjects you’ll normally want 1/1000sec minimum. To keep the noise down then you’ll normally need to be shooting below ISO 1000 on the a6400, this should be achievable even with 1/1000sec in good light. Hello,TimothyI am planing to buy an Sony a6400, but I am struggling and search for a good lens that’s provide me a good quality images and sharpened ,meaning all in one I have some in mind 18-135 mm and 18-105 , maybe do you have another consideration?..thank you
Hi Peter. If you shoot mainly images then the Sony E 18-135 is a very good choice to pair with the a6400. If you shoot more video then the Sony E 18-105 is the better choice due to its constant f/4 aperture, smooth motorized zoom and internal zoom design which makes for easier balancing on a gimbal. For this focal range these would be my two top choices.
How does the A6400 do in low light situations? I would like to shoot sunrise and sunset landscapes and wondering if it would be good choice for landscapes. I am also considering the Canon M50
I have no issues with using it in low light situations and normally with landscapes I’ll be using a slower shutter speed anyway to keep the ISO down. That said, the full-frame bodies do handle low light better. I’m not sure how it compares with the Canon M50 but I’m sure there are some comparisons out there.
Thank you for the pictures. They’ve helped my decision-making process. All the images are impressive, but the ones with the dog are my favorite. I can almost feel his fur.
