Laowa has announced the 8-16mm f/3.5-5 Zoom CF manual focus lens which is available for Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, Canon RF and Canon EF-M systems.
This is an APS-C manual focus only lens with a focal range of 8-16mm and a variable aperture of F3.5-5. The angle of view is 82.8°-120.9.
The lens is constructed of 16 elements in 12 groups (2 Aspherical Elements + Extra-low Dispersion Elements). The minimum focusing distance is 20cm/7.87’’ and there’s a 86mm filter thread.
The lens weighs just 1.02 lb (463 g) and measures about 88.4 mm in diameter x 88.53 mm in length (3.48 x 3.48’’).
The lens is priced at $549.00 US dollars and is already available to ship.
