You can view the Sony Alpha A7C R (ILCE-7CR) User Manual either Online or Download a PDF version of the manual to print out.
I would recommend using the Online Version since it is easier to search.
There’s also the Sony A7C R Startup Guide available as a PDF that covers the basics such as inserting the battery, attaching a lens and turning it on etc.

Hi Timothy. Thank you for Alpha Shooters. Do you happen to know if there is a plan to add NFC functionality to the A7CR? The spec sheet at Sony even has a line, “NFC – “.

Is there any information on how RAW file type effects the frames per second rate of each camera?
Timothy Mayo
Hi Steven. Unfortunately Sony is never clear about this. All they say for the A7C R is the following: “The speed of continuous shooting decreases when shooting in uncompressed RAW or lossless compressed RAW”. So if you want the maximum frame rate you’ll need to shoot in compressed RAW, JPEG or HEIF file formats. I’ve not tested the A7C R so I can’t confirm the exact frame rate for shooting in uncompressed RAW or lossless compressed RAW. I have tested the A7R V and this drops from 10 to 7 FPS when shooting with the mechanical shutter and from 8 to 5 with the electronic shutter. So I’d expect a drop of 2-3 shots with the A7C R as well but can’t confirm that until I’ve tested it.
