Something's wrong here. You and Kev shoot with similar cameras as mine. And I have one of the best Sony lenses 135 GM 2.8. I have a bigger sensor than the a9. Yet... you and Kev's resolution and detail is noticeably better than mine. Yours (and Kev's) are so sharp you can see the bellybutton lint in your dragonfly's navel. But mine don't!

I'm using the same camera and same lenses....and yet.... hmmm.....
That only leaves one variable left to account for the difference in your photo IQs.
Never mind, I don't want to talk about it. .....

Beautiful shot set again, Malcolm, as mentioned earlier....
But the moth shots often give me pause. Because even those in perfect focus can deceive our senses because of the soft micro-fluffy texture of their body surface — giving the first impression of being soft or out-of-focus, even while in perfect focus. And many moths have a similar complex intricate color symmetry found in dragons. Nature must use really super-micro-tiny paint brushes on these little critters.
