CC Welcome
  1. Yes
From a trip to Rye Harbour yesterday. I wasn't expecting to see these birds at all, but more especially the juvenile . These birds arrive in the UK from Africa in March, but not in huge numbers, to the point that this is only the 2nd and 3rd birds I've ever seen. Anyway, beautiful birds that posed well. Fairly heavy crops needed due to distance, and some smart cloning needed to remove some unsightly 6 inch screws that are in the top of every post, for reasons unknown! (Other than to irritate photographers)

Nice shots of this streamlined little bird.
Looks like a very fast moving bird so I would be thinking it is one that doesn't stay still long.
If this is the case you have done a even better job at getting these shots.

Cheers Ralph. They are a fast moving bird, but also pose quite nicely at times. They seem curious of your presence and so act a bit like Divas for the camera.

If I were one of Her Majesty's Loyal Subjects, I would say, "Another cracking set, Kev!"

Cheers Jeff. I speak American too, so say what you'd say :D

Oh, I might say something tacky which your photos would not deserve. As always, your shots are First Rate. I'm fortunate to belong to a Forum where there are many great examples of Photographic Excellence.
