As long as the subject to camera distance is not changing much then this lens can be used for action, otherwise you will get at least 50% of the shots out of focus (even with an A1 driving it)

This one is on my short list of 85mm lenses. I think I have it down to this Sigma and the Sony f:1.8. Just trying to justify the extra $450 US at Abes of Maine.

That is a great shot, but I am not sure I can justify the extra money for my use case. I’m not a pro just a serious hobbyist.
