Birds Snowy Owl, Common Goldeneye, and American Robin

Yesterday I went to a park here in Toronto and had the luck to spot a Snowy Owl, a Barrow's Goldeneye, and an American Robin. All pictures are straight out of the camera, only did cropping as the owl was far away. I am still practicing with all the settings.

Nice shots... for how many Snowies are in the Ottawa region, I have not had luck with snowies this year.

That's not a Barrow's Goldeneye btw, it's a Common Goldeneye. Barrow's will have considerably more black on the back.

I had to look up the bird in my book 'Birds of Canada', on the illustration the Common Goldeneye had a green(ish) head and neck where the Barrow's Goldeneye was more like in my photo. I have googled some more pictures after your comment and indeed it looks like a Common Goldeneye, thanks! Learn something everyday

Here's a heavily cropped image we took a while ago, but you can see the difference btwn the Common and Barrow's. You can see how more black is on the back of the Barrow's.
