This morning my Wife and I headed south to one of the nearby Preserves. The Sand Hill Cranes have migrated north for the summer but I never made it close to them before they left. They will be back in September or October. Today was the first use of my 1.4 Teleconverter. It was nice to have a little extra reach. The very first thing we ran into was a Snowy Egret, at least this is just my best guess. All in all, it was a much calmer scene than early February when we first visited. If your interested in see my photos on Flickr, here is a link to today's Album. In the mean time I'll post a few photos here.
