Week 41. Definitely one of my favourite tits, the long tailed one! I've not seen any in the garden where we are currently living but popped back to the old garden today and there were still a few about. Although I missed a nice shot of a great spotted woodpecker which was a little disappointing.

They certainly are Kev. It will be interesting to see what birds turn up in our new garden. I've not been putting too much food out where we are now as didn't want them to become reliant on me feeding them and then we move out.

Yep. We are seeing new species even now, after 6 months. We are hoping that the Great Spotted Woodpecker nests in our Ash Tree. He's been looking.

Fingers crossed Kev! We want to make a bit more of an effort with the new place to create a wildlife friendly garden. Thankfully Frank has grown out of destroying everything we plant so that should make things a little easier!

Week 12. Pied Wagtail on our bungalow roof today. We've had a pair visiting this week, which is unusual. In the past they have only ever appeared when it's snowed a lot.

Maybe the snow is on the way Kev! I hope not though, as we are finally moving into the new place later this week, but if it snows much there access will quickly become challenging. We heard a curlew when we were there yesterday, couldn't see it though.

It is, sort of. It came out of the camera as a raw file and then I ran it through the "city lights" template in Luminar Neo.

Not bad at all! What focal length did you use?

Yes, they are. They are 3 or 4 shots each with the camera turned 90 degrees. I then used Lightroom to stitch them together.
