The wife and I decided to have our evening tea on the beach and we were joined by this fabulous Bar Tailed Godwit. This is a lifer bird for me! They aren't rare, though also not so numerous as Black Tailed, and to see one on the beach is unusual too. Not the easiest conditions to shoot in, so I'm really happy with these.
