My son and I are trying to get in the habit of a couple hikes per week. Yesterday we went to a local marsh area with the intent of walking a couple of miles. We took a wrong turn, ended up on a different trail, and walked over 4! Oh well, at least we got off to a good start.
I didn't want to lug one of the FF along so I took the A6000 and the only APS-C lens I own, the 18-55. It's a nice size camera for this type of outing and allows room in my sling bag for several hundred cans of mosquito repellant! I did find myself wishing I had more reach and will probably end up looking for one of the other 18 - XX lenses.
Anyway, please feel free to post your nature walk photos.
