Birds Bearded Reedlings (or Bearded Tits if you like)...

Bearded Reedlings or Bearded Tits, call them either, but whichever way the males are utterly superb looking little birds. It was a real treat to see them at close range at Minsmere this week. Conditions always need to be just right for them to come out of the lower part of the reeds, and it was wind free on Tuesday, so absolutely spot on. The female is the last shot, and is the only one I managed as they were playing hard to get

Yep. I am going with another chap from here on Saturday, as far as I know anyway, we have yet to confirm. It's an early 7m tide, maybe enough anyway.
