Experimenting with figure/background separation on my second day with my new FE 70–200 mm F2.8 GM OSS II (SEL70200GM2)
This wood creature is only visible at this angle and unfortunately, the background is a mess of human intrusion on nature. I've shot this before with different f/4 lenses, but couldn't eliminate the distracting elements.
The only thing I did in post (Capture One) was some cropping. I could have done something to darken the background, but I'm still learning how to do that kind of thing.
What do you think?
