Not sure if this picture will fit unter Street Photography or just "other"

Gorgeous shot, I love the colors (even in the reflection on the boats)! It's almost architecture/art to me, but I guess street will do too :)
 
It's a fantastic shot.
For me, "Street" implies that there are people in the shot. I think of it as nature photography of humans in cities (for the most part)
 
Henri Cartier Bresson, one of the all time great street photographers, defined "street photography" as capturing the decisive moment. Under that definition you don't need a street and you don't need people. S, does this qualify? It probably does.
 
There's a tendency to associate street with people, but for me street is about capturing the unique atmosphere of walking around a particular city or town.

And your picture totally captures the atmosphere of Venice. Well done!
 
Love them, reminds me of Film Noir, my favourite genre.
Thanks, I was hoping Humphrey Bogard would up thru the fog.
