Technically my second, but the first didn't hang around long enough.

Gunung Leuser National Park, North Sumatra.

This trip was originally scheduled for May 2020.

Tomorrow is the long trek, looking for baby and Gibbons.

Today was our long trek, and man, it felt long. The terrain in places was very challenging with inclines steeper than 1 in 1, slippery clay under foot and roots and vines everywhere to snag you, top or bottom. Temperature was around the 30 mark and humidity averaged 87% today. We drank and sweated continuously.

I'm not going to claim any of these shots as technically accomplished, you are mostly shooting directly up, between a tangle of greenery against the sky. I chose to take the 70-200mm because of it's relative lightweight, so some heavy cropping has taken place.
