It is ridiculous Gaz. Just when you think the situation can't look any better, something changes then you basically delete all the images you just took because it now looks way better!

I know the feeling, that ocean breeze is always carrying some moisture (and salt) that seems to be attracted to camera lenses hahaHaha. I may have to clean that sensor between walks!
That’s glorious. It looks so solid with the dark edges cracking open just enough to show some blue. It’s like we live in an Easter egg!Sometimes all you need is the back garden.View attachment 35161
Thanks I saw it and had to dash up and put my head out of the loft window before it all changed. That’s glorious. It looks so solid with the dark edges cracking open just enough to show some blue. It’s like we live in an Easter egg!

Thanks Clint. Sky was very clear, it was the fog I was trying to capture. I wish I had moved to left and took the shot down the ravine the way the bench was looking. Live and learn! By the way I loved your photo looking down on Sydney, I remember that street from our visit there.A great example of how to make a clear sky work.

I prefer the first because the birds are apparently more linea. I often grab a bit of bush to the side and foreground, and sometimes overhead to try and frame the view. It’s a struggle looking for a subject. It’s a struggle to find balanced compositionGood Morning!
