Groynes are such social places.
Yesterday, the visibility was a little better, and I got a few shots showing how the wildlife share and enjoy the groynes.

Here's a shot showing the groynes protruding into the water at my favourite beach about six weeks ago.A groyne is a shore protection structure built perpendicular to the shoreline of the coast (or river), over the beach and into the shoreface (the area between the nearshore region and the inner continental shelf), to reduce longshore drift and trap sediments. -
