Mammals Seals - Are they really this long?

I never see these out of the water. Usually, I'm lucky to get a partial headshot. Yesterday, just before sunrise, I saw this.
Are they really this long?

Seals, depending on the type are quite large!! That's probably female harbor seal.

They are large and very playful. I've dove (is that a word?) with them and they like to nibble your fins (Not a euphemism) once there were two divers pointing and almost laughing there regulators out. I didn't know what they were laughing at. back on the boat I asked them. They said there was one almost standing up behind you. every time you turned left it moved to the right when you turned right it moved left. I never saw it yet.

Dove is a word, but it's a bird. Dived is the word you need.

Seals are huge, especially bull seals. Go and have a look at some of my seal shots from last year.
