It was a fairly clear night in the Kootenays in BC. So I gave the Pixel-Shift Multi Shot a try with some Milky Way shots. The ability to "stabilize a moving subject" in Imaging Edge was critical. I tried without it first and everything was just smeared and gross.
Also, the file sizes are getting ridiculous. The ARQ is 1.83GB
I still have a long way to go with astrophotography so I was a bit cheeky with the 15s exposure time. According to the "Rule" of 500, it should be fine with 28mm focal length. However, I've found it should really be called the "Rule of 300".
