This is a great looking bird if I was asked. I think it has to be one of the better coloured bird we have here in Australia.
These are about a 2.5 hour drive from home so when we go there I make sure to have time to get to where they are.

Funny that you say that as this is what I have found out the hard way.
They will not let you get to with 2 or 3 car lengths and once you do off they go.
I know I would have many more shots if they were just a little more the other way.
