Birds Eastern Barn Owl

Went out a fair way from home like about 50 kilometers.
The place me and my mate went to is called Mallanbool and there is a hard to get bird there but it wasn't this one.
This one was a complete surprise.
We drove down to the 2nd entrance drove down a little got and and went fro a walk and then we just head the flapping.
Looking back and up we see the Owl. A 1st for me and with great pleasure I took my shot.

I am more than happy wit this one. We had one which was closer to town but it seems as though that one now has moved on.
Went we got this one, on the way home we went to where the other one was in hope of getting 2 in the same day.
But it wasn't in it's hollow.
So to get one was great and thanks.

Jan I went on an outing with our local group and half of them seen the same sort of Owl at one stop. I was on the other side and missed it.
So it was good to get one a week or 2 later of the same breed. It would of been good to be able to them both but it just wasn't meant to happen.
