The Photographer.

As we are all aware it's the photographer that creates the image not the equipment we use but like me how many of us turn the lens upon ourselves.

We are exploring this theme with Photographic Connections with Kim Grant.

This was an image I created today after the webinar we had as I sat next to a silver birch tree listening to it and felt it would be great to have a photo of me next to this wonderful species of trees I have so much pleasure being in and photographing.

It would be great to see images of the members behind the camera

I have thought about the topic too. We live in an age of casual selfies, but true self portraits would be worth the effort in a forum such as this. I am traveling at the moment but maybe next week I'll participate in this discussion.
