Beautiful pic!

Thanks Jan, Dave and Thad. I think rain drops on most things look really good. I've a few more images of vegetation after the rain I need to process.

Beautiful colours and textures. Well done.

Thanks Alex. I don't know if it is a real thing or not or if it's just my imagination, but are the colours and the quality of the light different after a storm? The light was so nice after the down pour.

They are indeed. Light is very different depending on the weather. After a storm the air is cleaner and colours crisper than usual but in a soft way, unlike under the sun of summer. You captured those vibrant colours well. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

I tried a different crop on the Marigold and also a black and white version.

A different Marigold, but similar theme. I'm finding it difficult to post process the water droplets. Any comments or suggestions welcome.

A collection of Nasturtium leaves (they are also edible) after the rain. I love the way the rain drops gather on the leaves.

IMAGE 1:
For Image 1 I have three different crops of the same leaf. I think the folded bright portion of the leaf on the right may be a little distracting in both 1a and 1b, which is why I'm favouring the third crop, 1c. Which do you prefer?

IMAGE 2:
I like this composition of a different leaf as it also shows the stem of the leaf, giving the image a different perspective. But the droplet does not have the same crystal like appearance found in Image 1.

Yet another leaf and another collection of droplets. Again, two different crops of this image, I particularly like the droplets on the edge of the leaf which can be seen in Image 3a, along with the entire leaf. I try to emphasise the edge a little more in the crop of Image 3b. Which do you prefer?

Heres a few more leaves covered in raindrops.

Image 6:
A rather alien looking Black Kale after the rain, in colour and monochrome. I think the colour is a better, but the monochrome looks a little sinister. What do you think?
