2nd Place - The second place winner will receive a $20 (US dollar) voucher for Amazon.
3rd Place - The joy of taking part.

This image was taken at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, NC. I believe this is a Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly drinking nectar from a flower.

A big thanks to everyone who entered and voted in this months competition. A little quieter than last month but still good to see your entries.

1st place with 10 votes was @Alan Clark with his lovely close-up of a tropical fern frond.
2nd place with 7 votes was @WeeMalky with a great shot of a pair of damselflies, small red perhaps? I'm definitely no expert.
Also in joint 2nd with 7 votes was @reneegw with a stunning shot of a Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly drinking nectar from a flower.
3rd place with 5 votes was @Rhinodad with a close-up of some driftwood at Boneyard Beach, Big Talbot Island State Park near Jacksonville, Florida.
Also in joint 3rd with 5 votes was @etiennescamera with a really nice shot of some raindrops on a daisy.

I'll be in touch with the 1st and 2nd place winners very soon to arrange the vouchers.

Well done everyone and thanks again for taking the time to enter.

October is here already and I'll be kicking off this months food competition just before I call it a night.
