No, 3 breeding pairs at a near by lake reserve, and 2 years watching means I can almost find them when ever I walk now :)

The background is fine, birds don't live in places with perfect background. Nice shots.
 
I’ve got to the stage that if I see a shot I like I don’t worry about the background unless it is really terrible.

I am not sure I can do much about it, I am no editing expert, the fact is these birds are off at the slightest movement around them and the angle shot it is shot at is better than the background of buildings that would have shown behind it, other factors would have seen better results maybe different f number but the bird was strongly backlight. I guess it is all part of the learning process

I don’t if it’s too bad I probably won’t take the picture or if I do I’ll leave it as it is.
