Started a new Not in flight thread because the old seems to have migrated away.

Birds in flight is still there, but the other thread... maybe it was removed because it was started by a deleted user?

Thanks for starting this again David! It was on my to-do list. Unfortunately the last one got removed when I was cleaning up threads from a deleted member. I did want to keep it and just change the thread starter but that didn't work correctly and it got remove unfortunately. Only way to recover it was to restore the entire forum but since new posts had been made since then and I'd already removed a lot of their posts it wouldn't of been ideal either. Anyway, I'll know for next time so it shouldn't happen again.

The birds in flight thread is still here Kev.

Paid a visit to RSPB. Radipole (Weymouth) yesterday, as it was a bright, calm day, in the hope of seeing some Bearded Tits. We parked in the car park, walked 30 yds to the bridge into the reserve and six of them flew into the reeds by the bridge. Sometimes it's easier than others!!

You certainly did well there, they certainly aren't an easy bird to photograph.

Where is the old thread and all the images we all added???
Thanks for starting this again David! It was on my to-do list. Unfortunately the last one got removed when I was cleaning up threads from a deleted member. I did want to keep it and just change the thread starter but that didn't work correctly and it got remove unfortunately. Only way to recover it was to restore the entire forum but since new posts had been made since then and I'd already removed a lot of their posts it wouldn't of been ideal either. Anyway, I'll know for next time so it shouldn't happen again.

The birds in flight thread is still here

What sort of response is that Chris?
A neutral one Gary.
I reposted Tim's comment because, technically, he addressed your question previously.

The images can still be found in the gallery if one wants to look, they were not deleted from there just the attached thread.

why has this been edited by the mod on the 19th of oct?
Because the image was inserted as a thumbnail, it was changed to full like the rest of the images here.

Aside...

I miss the mental hiccough I used to have at my over-literal mind seeing "non birds in flight" Used to think it should be aircraft. Or something.

Don't mind me: I'm just an old cat man 😸
