wow nice shots, but also whoah look at the size of that trout relative to the bird! I'm always amazed they can take on such a large meal.

No the heron really getting brazen in the otter enclosure ,for this moment the heron got lucky ,at one point there was the otter ,heron and crow all looking at the same meal ,not sure the outcome would of been the same had the otter not just been fed by the keepers.

yes that is one big trout /salmon ,but i have seen them swallow pike and bream of this proportion also, as well as moorhens rats vowels snakes ducklings quite formidable i would not go to close to one.
