Birds A couple of Nuthatches…

Little birds are busy in the yard this morning and the light and colour in the background is spectacular ( background colour is completely untouched) . Two nuthatches a red breasted and a white breasted enjoying the peanuts..

Nuthatches are one of the most fun to watch. One of the few birds that can walk up and down head first on trees.

Some birds are so common we just stop seeing them. They are so common we don’t seem to think about them at all. I believe the white-breasted nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis)
