Since i got this, I've been testing this vintage glass in the garden. (135mm,f /2.8, hoya).
Since my A7 mk1 has no IBIS, I found that this lens needs pretty high shutter speeds and some care to give of its best.
I took it out in to use in the real world a few times in the last week. I usually use it in AV mode, and set the ISO higher than normal (ie 400 -800) so that the shutter speed stays high.
I really love this focal length for portraits! It lets you take shots from far enough away that your friends forget that you're there
They may not forgive me for this one taken at a small legally distanced craft group get together ( titled the 3 witches)
