Photo Walks A wander around Pleasley Vale Mills, Nottinghamshire

Just a 20 minute walk from home is Pleasley Vale Mills. The first Mill was built in 1784. The Mills no longer fulfil their original purpose, having closed when Viyella moved out. The site was obtained by the local council for £1 and all 3 Mills are now fully occupied by small business units. Much of the original housing is till occupied and the area makes a lovely walk with a camera.

Lovely place, thanks for sharing. The pictures are relaxing and inspiring, just like the place itself seems to be. I like the colour rendition of the greenery. Good work!

That path in between the foliage, the cherry tree landscape and the spiky white flowers detail are lovely pictures.
