Back in 2001 I had started a thread about 23mm or 24mm lenses that would make a "full-frame equivalent" of 35mm when used on my APSC a6400:
Shortly after, I bought a Tamron 24mm Di III OSD:
I was happy for a while until I went back to zoom lenses. Years later, the slow autofocus of that lens really annoyed me, so I got rid of it.
In the 3 years since my first post, Sony came out with the compact 24mm f2.8 G for the A7C and Sigma came out with a brilliant 23mm f1.4 (soon to be copied by Viltrox, or was it the other way around?). Well the bug finally bit me again and I decided I want a compact walkaround lens. Because I wanted something compact, I was willing to compromise on aperture, so I decided on the Sony lens over the Sigma.
The fit on the a6700 (and therefore also the A7C/A7CII/A7CR) is just fantastic. The autofocus is snappy, accurate and silent. f2.8 is as shallow as I need for this focal length and I will post samples as I take them. So far, so good.

Tamron 24mm f2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 First impressions on an APSC body (A6400)
Thanks to Tim and Fstoppers for alerting me to the Tamron sale, I decided to beg the wife for some fun money and buy the 24mm prime by Tamron for a remarkably good price of $196+tax! Now, I don't have a full frame camera, I have an A6400, but hear me out on this. I have two goals: 24mm x 1.5...
