Sony A7 + A7 II A7 with LA-EA3 and Sony 70-300 G SSM Slow to Focus - Is it Normal?

Hi, I have a question. Im using an original Sony A7 with a La-ea3, attached to a Sony 70-300 G SSM. Im finding the focusing extremely slow. Is this normal?

Hi this is not very encouraging for you but I had the original a7 and the focus speed was slow so add an adaptor and I guess its going to get slower I hope I am wrong
