Sony has just confirmed the A7C is going to be a real thing. Originally, people thought it would cost around $1000 and sell under either A5 or A6 brading, but Sony has recently confirmed it will sell under the A7 line and cost roughly twice as much in the $2,000 price range. From the sounds of it, it'll more or less wind up being a A7iii crammed into a a6000 rangefinder type body. On the up side, it is supposed to have the touch screen of the a7siii.
