Finally got to use my Sony 20-70mm f/4 G lens. Got it for travel and it worked out beautifully. Took these with the Sony a7iii.

Really nice. If you edit your post and go to each photo you can upload the full image instead of thumbnails.

wow, you certainly had some nice weather to help showcase such a beautiful island!

Hmm. I thought I did. Maybe that's why the meta data is not showing up. I was wondering what I did wrong. I'll give that a try when I'm on my PC. Thx.

Ok, got it to work. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, it was nice. First couple days was overcast and actually cold, but the clouds rolled out and the sun came out and it warmed up real nice! :)

For those that don't know, in the fall of 2019 the Bahamas was ground zero to a Cat 5 hurricane (Hurricane Dorian) and destroyed the islands. It was the greatest natural disaster in Bahamas history. Then in 2020, Covid arrived. They've had a hard 4 or 5 years. The islands are being rebuilt as we speak. You either see brand new/refurbished structures or completely destroyed structures. It's a strange site. It was nice to see that they're rebuilding their communities and nice to bring our tourist money to the islands to help the local economy. The locals were very friendly and glad to see tourists finally visiting the islands again and getting back to a somewhat "normal" way of life.

I was driving to and from Orlando during the hurricane watch for Dorian, while that beast of a system just sat on top of Bahamas. There were emergency vehicles lining the highway, standing by for landfall that did not come. My heart went out to the Bahamians that day/week.
