Anyone seeing any good deals on cameras, lenses, accessories, or memory media today?

For APSC, I see Amazon has the Sony E PZ 10-20mm F4 G and Sony E 15mm F1.4 G discounted to $648 USD.
For FE lenses, I see Samyang 35mm f1.8 for $256 USD.
I'm sure there's a bunch of other third party lenses too.

As far as memory media, I'm thinking of buying this portable hard drive to back up my photos when I travel:

Smallrig cage for the A6700 also seems to be on sale, $38 USD, along with other smallrig accessories.

I bought that hard drive I listed, a 1TB SSD, nice compact backup to slip into the backpack. I didn't see anything else that really shouted "OMG I must have it!"

There are generally some good deals on accessories especially in the stuff for lighting setups. Lots of light boxes, stands and arms. There are also a ton of hard cases on sale.

The A7iii is listed at 25% off but I don't know if that is like the regular price now.

I got a few things here. I put them on the “What have you bought recently?” thread.

Yep. That’s very true…

And what they want to shift. Old version dji drones have some substantial discounts, get to anything newer and your looking at a few percent.

I used to work for a technology retailer. I can 100% confirm that Black Friday was a way to clear dead or slow-moving inventory. Product managers at these companies track the rate that units of "x" category are selling and when things slow down or sit in a warehouse (thus increasing cost of storage) then a discount is born lol.
Sometimes the manufacturers even gave incentive to the retailers to blow out their old stock so they would buy newer models. Hence the new models are never on sale: smallest margins and no incentive to discount.

You can still get some good bargains if you're lucky though. I guess it's pretty unrealistic to expect all the latest stuff to be discounted.

B&H is matching or beating Amazon's prices on all Sony stuff. the a7 III body is $1298. If you have their Payboo card, you do not pay sales tax. There are also a ton of lenses on sale. Neewer e-mount extension tubes are $28. If you need a tripod or some other accessory, there also a ton on sale, including Manfrotto.

I recommend using Camel Camel Camel to see Amazon's prices over time. A lot of items are going for Amazon's historic low price right now.

I picked up one of these, it looks cool: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTQ1VBVX

I also got a similar thing for RX100 batteries.

I tried CamelX3 yesterday, too much site traffic to be useful, but otherwise yes!

There are a lot of K&F and Neewer filters for pretty good prices.

I got a few things that were in my wish list for quite a while for a reasonable discount.
