Hi all
Not adding this photo for its technical merit and not even sure if this is the correct forum for it.
Over the weekend my wife and I hiked in the Brecon Beacons national park to the site of this memorial.
It marks the fatal crashing in November 1944 of a Wellington bomber on a training exercise with the loss of all 6 Canadian crew.
My wife is pictured at the memorial and in the background you can see part of the wreckage which has lain there undisturbed for over 70 years.
Quite a poignant moment reflecting on those brave Canadians who lost their life so far from home.
The UK owes a huge debt to them and many like them.
