A friend reached out to me a few weeks ago: he had seen my camera and the progress I've made with family photos. He wanted a camera like mine, so I was more than happy to share my experiences. I made sure to give him both the Full Frame and APSC options and some pros and cons of each. In the end, he decided to buy an A6400 with the 18-135mm as it suited his budget and modest needs (similar desire to take family photos).
It's kind of fun to revisit one's old gear and say: If I were doing this all over again, I'd do this/that, and I would buy X but not Y. I'll try and steer him right, and I have a few odds and ends to give him (memory cards, travel tripod) to help set him up for success. We'll see if he's interested in joining the forum, though he's not prone to oversharing like I am
