Hi Everyone. I've never taken my expensive camera equipment abroad, but I will be in Africa for 2 weeks in November and will be taking my A1 plus lenses. Can anyone recommend good camera travel insurance? Thank you!

Don't know how insurance works in the UK but I have an additional rider on my homeowners insurance for my camera equipment. I just paid it the other month and it was $86 for the year for covering my A1, A7Riv, 100-400GM and 200-600G.

Wow, that's an amazing deal! I had thought it would need to be a specialised insurance, but I will look into that as an option, thanks

i've got LV home insurance(contents) and i went with Home Plus, with this cover items upto £5000 each upto a total value of £15,000 away from home,i only started to get home insurance so my camera gear was covered,i did not have to let Lv know what gear i had as long as each item was valued less than £5000
