Wow! Is that in the wild @Slug?

The fella who use to run the local bird club has sold up and traveling and he recently got one up north.
Love to get a shot of one myself one day. Well done.

We have 5+ living in the lake at the Tasmanian Arboretum. The lake is adjacent to Melrose creek and they are free to come and go as they please.
This photo is taken under a bridge on the Don River Devonport. I regularly see one or two at that location on my bike rides.

The reason or one of them why I want to come back but for 3 months.
I know I will see a little more but we will still be be missing heaps.

I have seen them in the water a couple of times but never got a view as good as that.
