It seems like I always find an excuse to not go out and take photos. Here's today's:
Check Temp.jpg

I will swap you a crappy 18° overcast day for a 45° sunny one any time! 🙂

I'll accept that. I couldn't get out the shower at that temperature let alone out the house.

That's definitely too warm for me. Autumn is on its way here, I've got a warm fleece on today!

It's still 25 degrees here in Norfolk!
It reached a toasty 18 degrees here and the fleece didn't come off! :) Although we are on a hill around 300m above the sea so that helps keep it a few degrees cooler.

Too much for me ,the sort of heat thay makes you want to sleep in your chest freezer ,and i doubt the camera lens would appreciate it much either

Another nasty day in this area. We had 115 F and I went back to where we used to live (Napa, California) and saw 116 on the way out of town.

I would *almost* trade my hot & humid conditions for Cali weather. Almost. But I dare not chance those forest fires. Not sure how close they are to you Jeff, but hope you and yours are safe.

My excuses for not going on more photo-walks is now the infant rocking in her chair to my left, but before that I think my number 1 EXCUSE was that I "live in a boring part of town without much scenery". This is a thin excuse at best, and I think anyone that thinks they need to travel to exotic locations to do landscape (or other genre) photography needs to embrace the challenge of finding the shot even in the mundane. I need to follow my own advice, once I can venture out for some short trips.

I would still be going out in that and as Clint said I would swap you in a heart beat as we have had day after day of wet grey skys with it being windy and cold. I hate it.
We here in Mildura can get over 2 weeks of 43 degree celsius and over in summer and this is each year. Night time it can still be up to 25 degree's celsius and that is hard to sleep. But as I am getting older these hot days are starting to beat me up a lot now. But as a young fella and kid it was nothing.
So I now will still go out with the range up to 32 degrees but if it is higher than that then it is make the air-conditioner my best friend.
And even the birds here are not out and about as they to are affected by the heat.
