Over the past 300 years, St.Paul's Cathedral has been witness to the growth of London, and it still does so today. Hopefully, this new London development will not obscure the views of the Cathedral. This shot was taken from the Stone Gallery of St.Paul's (35m above the Cathedral Floor, up 378 steps), looking towards another London icon, the Brutalist Architecture of the Barbican development, with the Cromwell, Lauderdale and Shakespeare Towers in view. You can also see the crane operator in the crane cab, second from right.
