Hello all and thanks for having me here!
I've loved photography all my life, with my first ever DSLR being a second hand Sony A100, which taught me a lot before I upgraded to a Nikon D3200 which I owned for almost a decade. I sold the Nikon during COVID lock down after being in a bit of a funk in life, as I'm sure most of us were, but of course for those lucky enough to still be around to feel like that.
But I've found myself recently missing having a proper camera and with me and Mrs Wools booking a holiday to Japan next year, I thought now's a good time!
After much consideration, I picked up a new Sony D7 III early this week with the 28-70mm kit lens and have been adoring it. Been on several lunchtime walks and went to Brooklands Museum here in the UK today (The first purpose built Motor circuit in the world) having so much fun learning proper photography again and beginning to learn my first ever Mirrorless camera.
It's great to be back into this world and after spending months reading this forum as a Guest, reading reviews and impressions, I'm looking forward to contributing and chatting to you all here.
Here's a few shots I've taken this week for the A7 III.
