I just crossed the "bridge" from an rx10 to a9ii with the 200-600mm lens, so will probably be learning more than contributing for a while, but am looking forward to it! Made the switch because I live on a river and so get lots of chances to catch fast birds like bald eagles and kingfishers (at least until winter descends) but I've just been missing focus on shots that would otherwise be pretty amazing. Here's the photo that convinced me to spend the $$s on the upgrade. Somewhat cropped. Waiting for the rain to let up before I can really try out the new a9. Any advice on fast shooting for birds much appreciated.
