Hello,
I’m Bob. I just recently discovered this forum. I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota, USA. I’ve been shooting Sony for a while. I started with an A6000. I quickly changed to an A6300. I owned it for several years. Great body. Then I moved to an A6600. What an awesome little camera. By then I really had an itch for full frame and upgraded to my current A7IV and I love it. I shoot wildlife and landscapes. My Sony 200-600mm is my default lens and spends the most time on the A7IV. My Sony 70-200mm GM II is my second most used lens. I use my Tamron 28-75mm fairly often, I’m always impressed with it. Last I have a Sigma 16-28mm that is a sharp lens but I don’t reach for it very often.
I’m fortunate to live within easy driving distance to Badlands, Wind Cave, Rocky Mountain, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Plus Custer State Park is my home base and I have visited the Big Horns in Wyoming in June for about 24 years. I’m kind of a 3 season shooter. Fall, winter and spring are my favorite seasons. I’m not fond of the summer months. Though I did just return from the Tetons on Monday. It was HOT! I usually visit GTNP and YNP in May and/or September each year. Much better wildlife viewing and WAY less crowds! Here are a few from the Tetons. Lucky to find some grizzlies. And a few snaps from the Big Horns in June.
