Hi,

I'm Andrew and live in east London. I don't currently have a camera outside of my iphone, but I really want to get back into photography after a very long lapse. My last serious camera was a Nikon D80 back in the early 2000's.

I like to photograph anything so will be looking for a general purpose set-up, but with a view to trying more specialist areas later.

(I'm planning on buying the Sony A7 IV very shortly)

Thank for the replies.

I actually bought it today along with a Tamron 28-200mm F/2.8-5.6 lens. Just waiting on it to charge and then go through the firmware upgrades.

Welcome Andrew and thank you for joining up here! You've definitely made a good choice with the a7IV and the Tamron 28-200mm F/2.8-5.6. That lens should certainly cover many bases until you know what you'd like to dig a little deeper into. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
