Just joined, and waiting for my new A7CII to be delivered, replacing my 4 year old A7RIV - decided I didn't need 61mp as a hobbyist. I mainly shoot Urban/Street/Macro as not a people person!

I hope, you'll enjoy your new A7CII. I did it the other way around....changing from 24MP to 60MP....but I agree with you, mostly I will not need 60MP but for bird photography it can be benefical.
