Even though I shoot my Sony A7R4 95% of the time for the Wichita Wings for the last forty-three years, during their off season I shoot my little Sony FX104 in the bright sunlight of my back yard bird feeders to keep my anticipation; timing and trigger finger sharp. Recently, after having a heart attack and open-heart surgery, I spent more time practicing before the season started because I had spent five weeks in the hospital in recovery. Six hours under general anesthesia did away with my short-term memory, so I had to start over in preparing for the indoor soccer season by practicing on birds and entertaining myself by wondering what the birds were thinking with me photographing them for hours.
