In terms of grip with a supertele some kind of body extension helps.

It could be a traditional battery grip if the extra weight isn't a problem. I've used the Meikle on the A9 and it does OK.

It could be a Sony grip extender (or knock off) to give the pinkie something to wrap around.

Yes I do, with bird shooting in all conditions. None of my tele lenses or TCs have flange seals.
