Hello,
My name is Marlayne. Fortunately for me, photography is my favorite hobby. I like to take candid street and non-street photography, moments, and landscape marvels. I love others' wildlife photos. Unfortunately, I have had many interruptions and distractions over the years to give photography my best shot (pun intended), so, I'm a little rusty from time to time.
Thank you for welcoming me here. I look forward to learning from you all and maybe contribute something along the way.

I am from Philadelphia, PA. The photo was taken about a week ago in Hollywood, FL. I currently use a DLSR, Nikon D7200, and am moving into the full-frame mirrorless realm, hopefully the Sony a7R IV, if I can get financing from B&H which is now about half of what they approved me for in November 2021 (they have since changed their credit card provider).

Hah, you were in my neck of the woods last week! I've actually been meaning to go back to Dania Beach and take some pictures of the pier at sunrise since it has been some time since I've done that.

It is beautiful there. I hope to move to Florida within the next couple of years. it seems that there are so many interesting things to capture in photos. It’s easy to forget that not everyone lives in freezing cold temperatures in the wintertime.

That is true, but Florida is a bit one-dimensional (pun intended) because it is flat. No mountains to hike or waterfalls to photograph; I suppose it is the price we pay for warm weather all year-round and fantastic beaches.
